And that’s good news, as the team has been knocking these miniseries out of the park, with new characters and adventures that help grow the world of Thedas. Writers Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir, who also worked on Dark Horse’s Knight Errant and Deception miniseries, return for Dragon Age: Dark Fortress, joined again by artist Fernando Heinz Furukawa, who also drew Knight Errant, and colorist Michael Atiyeh. Sachin Teng will again provide the covers.
Here’s how Dark Horse describes the series, which again features Fenris from Bioware’s second Dragon Age game:
Deep within enemy territory, the warrior-legend and fan-favorite Fenris and a fearless team of Inquisition agents prepare to assault a fortress said to be unbreakable in a bid to prevent the unthinkable from being unleashed, but will these heroes make it in time?
The news follows the release of a new trailer for Dragon Age 4, which Bioware is hot at work on. Bioware also released several new prose short stories online for Dragon Age Day 2020, so if you are a fan of the franchise, you may wnat to check them out. Some of them feature characters who were also in the Dragon Age: Tevinter Nights prose anthology, and presumably could show up in the new game.
The new miniseries debuts next March.
