Dark Nights: Death Metal is staging a world tour this year, and they’re bringing some real metal bands along for the ride.
DC has announced Dark Nights: Death Metal – Band Edition variant covers, which will be published in eight different countries starting in March. And the covers will feature various characters from the miniseries, like the Batman Who Laughs, along with seven different metal bands. Each issue will also feature an introduction from the band and an exclusive interview. The lineup includes:
Issue #1: Megadeth by Juanjo Guarnido
Issue #2: Ghost by Werther Dell’ Edera
Issue #3: Lacuna Coil by Timpano / Antonio Fuso
Issue #4: Opeth by Mathieu Lauffray
Issue #5: Sepultura by Rafael Albuquerque / Pedro Mauro
Issue #6: Dream Theater by Santi Casas
Issue #7: Ozzy Osbourne by Marco Mastrazzo
The seven single issues with the Band edition variant covers will be published monthly in France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Turkey. This countries will also receive a Collectors’ Omnibus Edition of Dark Nights: Death Metal featuring additional bonus content, as will Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Korea and Japan.
