Dark Horse has announced plans to collect Sergio Aragonés’ Louder Than Words and Actions Speak miniseries into one volume appropriately called Louder Than Words, Actions Speak.

Both volumes came out about 20 years ago and were previously collected by Dark Horse. The collection will have a new cover by Dark Horse by Aragonés and colorist Carrie Strachan.

‘Batman: The Brave and the Bold’ anthology lands in May

The first issue features stories by Tom King, Mitch Gerads, Dan Mora, Christopher Cantwell, Javier Rodríguez and more.

DC has revealed more details about the new Batman: Brave and the Bold series they announced back in November. The series will be an anthology, with not every story featuring Batman.

The comic takes its title from the series that ran from the 1950s until 1983, which started as an anthology title but eventually evolved into a Batman team-up title. It was replaced by Batman and the Outsiders, and the title has been dusted off for a couple of mini-series projects since then.

‘Future State: Gotham’ #1 will include a Katsuhiro Otomo Batman story

DC Comics has released a preview of the upcoming Future State: Gotham #1, which spins out of the Future State event from earlier this year. The comic will feature the ongoing story of the Red Hood hunting down masked vigilantes for The Magistrate — which brings him into conflict with The Next Batman.

The comic is co-written by Joshua Williamson and Dennis Culver, with black-and-white art by Giannis Milonogiannis. Along with the preview came the news that DC will reprint “The Third Mask,” a Batman story written and drawn by Katsuhiro Otomo, creator of the manga and anime AKIRA. It originally appeared in a 1996 issue of Batman: Black & White.

DC resurrects ‘Batman: Black and White’

The anthology series spotlighting the Dark Knight returns in December.

DC has announced the return of Batman: Black and White, the popular series from the 1990s that featured rotating creators telling stories about Batman, his friends and his foes — all in black and white.

This new iteration will be a six-issue, prestige-format, $5.99 miniseries with an impressive lineup of creators on tap to produce colorless tales of the Dark Knight.
