Sunday Comics | Leftover Halloween candy

Check out recent comics from Jim Rugg, Roger Langridge, Ellen Forney and more.

Here’s a round up of some of the best comics we’ve seen online recently. If we missed something, let us know in the comments below.

I know Halloween was yesterday, but all the candy from last night is still good, right? It didn’t expire at midnight, and neither did this Halloween-themed Street Angel comic from Jim Rugg (which is actually a few years old at this point, so don’t eat it. Just read it).

It features the title character doing her thing on Halloween night as she teams up with a new friend.

Moving on to more topical subjects, Election Day in the United States is coming up this Tuesday, and Ellen Forney has some excellent reasons for why your vote is important.

On a lighter note, Roger Langridge shares one of his recent dreams — one that features a Hoppy the Marvel Bunny revival. How awesome would that be? I vote that Langridge gets to write and draw it.

So what’s the appeal of watching old episodes of Columbo? In this comic for The New Yorker, Joe Dator shares some ideas why the old 1970s detective show remains popular.

Finally, congratulations to editorial cartoonist Tom Toles, who retired this week. The Washington Post printed his final cartoon, in which he shares some words of wisdom.
