DC has revealed the creative teams for the three upcoming DC Digital First titles that were announced earlier this month.
The digital-first “extended cut” of the Milestone Returns #0 one-shot came out today, with plans for a print copy to debut in May. Milestone Returns: Infinite Edition #0 combines the original 17-page comic with an additional 24 pages of completely new material written by Reginald Hudlin and drawn by artists Denys Cowan, Nikolas Draper-Ivey, Bill Sienkiewicz and more. They also revealed the creative teams and first-issue covers:
Static Season One
Written by Vita Ayala, layouts by ChrisCross and finishes by Niklas Draper-Ivey, with covers by Khary Randolph.
The digital series starts April 12.
Icon and Rocket Season One
Written by Reginald Hudlin and Leon Chills, with art by Doug Braithwaite, with covers by Taurin Clarke.
The digital series starts June 21.
Hardware Season One
Written by Brandon Thomas, with art by Denys Cowan and Bill Sienkiewicz, with covers by Mateus Mahanini.
The digital series starts Aug. 23.
“Bringing back Milestone and the Dakota universe with DC has been an amazing journey,” said Cowan. “Getting the chance to do Hardware again with Bill Sienkiewicz is a dream come true. It’s the book that Dwayne McDuffie and I did together at Milestone originally, and I’ve always felt a strong connection to Curtis Metcalf. We can’t wait to bring fans the new adventures of Hardware!”
