The first salvo in the Venom War will hit next week, and with it comes word that Al Ewing and Carlos Nieto will do a one-page comic in each issue to introduce you to the character find of 2024 — Venom Horse.
If you missed his appearance in the trailer for the third Venom film, Venom Horse is, well, a horse with a Venom symbiote. In the trailer it looks like he’s literally taken over by Eddie Brock’s Venom symbiote, but in the comic, who knows — but we’ll find out during Venom War with “this special bonus saga” that will “introduce Venom Horse and share his wild origins as he busts free of captivity.”

And as long as we’re talking about Venom War, we know the series will feature a bunch of tie-in miniseries, featuring everyone from Spider-Man to Silver Sable to the Daredevils to Wolverine and more. In October, it looks like the Fantastic Four are also getting involved:
The three-issue miniseries is by Adam Warren and Joey Vazquez, and in addition to Marvel’s First Family it’ll also feature Dr. Doom and Kang. Or is that Sorcerer Supreme Doom now? “It’s a wild battle of mad geniuses that spans thousands of years and also the space of a breath—with stakes that only the Fantastic Four could fathom.”
Venom War #1 will arrive on Aug. 7, while Fantastic Four: Venom War kicks off Oct. 30.
