Robert E. Howard’s Kull, sometimes known as Kull the Conqueror or King Kull, will return to comics in 2027 at Titan Comics.
The publisher returned to San Diego to reveal more details on upcoming Conan the Barbarian projects, revealing to fans at their panel plans for the return of Kull, The Savage Sword of Conan: Reforged, Scourge of the Serpent and more.
Not much was said about Kull, which is still two years away. But in the more immediate future, Oct. 8 brings the extra-sized Conan the Barbarian #25 by longtime Conan writer Jim Zub and fantasy artist Alex Horley, who is painting the issue. Here’s a preview:
“It’s so nice to be able to show people some of the jaw-dropping work I’ve been staring in awe at since Alex and I started working on this epic back in September of last year,” Zub said on his blog. “This issue is my first King Conan story, it’s a self-contained adventure, and it’s a fist-pumping sword-swinging celebration of our series – past, present, and future.” He also reiterated that sales for Conan have been going up, so they haev no plans to end the series or even relaunch it.
Horley also painted both the cover and a wrap-around variant cover::

And here’s the description for the issue from Titan:
Conan the King welcomes a strange visitor with an even stranger mission. Can the Ruler of Aquilonia prove his mettle or will the mysterious wanderer’s incredible power change the course of history?
Finally, here’s a look at the cover and variant covers for issue #25, by Conan the Barbarian interior artists Roberto De La Torre, Jonas Scharf, Doug Braithwaite and Danica Brine:
In addition to the special issue of Conan, October will also bring another Conan title — The Savage Sword of Conan: Reforged #1 arrives Oct. 22. The title will feature “vivid all-new color restorations” of classic Savage Sword of Conan stories, starting in the first issue with “Tower of the Elephant” featuring art by John Buscema and Alfredo Alcala, and “The Frost-Giant’s Daughter” by Barry Windsor-Smith — both written by Roy Thomas based on Robert E. Howard stories. Here’s a look at the covers by De La Torre and Boris Vallejo:

Finally, a spinoff miniseries featuring Conan, Scourge of the Serpent, begins in September — you might remember Titan’s Free Comic Book Day offering earlier this year previewed it.

Zub is writing this one as well, with art by Ivan Gil. here are the details from Titan:
CONAN OF CIMMERIA has encountered Stygian sorcery and snake-sent creatures many times in his grand adventures, but he has never faced the true unspeakable power of SET… until NOW.
The variants for this one include a glow-in-the-dark version of the main cover by De La Torre — with a slight variation:

There are also variants by John McCrea, Geof Isherwood, Matias Bergara and Chris Stevens … which, unfortunately, don’t glow in the dark:
And here are some preview pages from the first issue:
This one arrives Sept. 24.
