Welcome to Can’t Wait for Wednesday, your guide to what’s coming to your local comic shop this week. It’s a quieter week as we head toward Thanksgiving here in the U.S., but there’s still plenty of comics to be thankful for.

I’ve pulled out some of the highlights for this week below, but for the complete list of everything you might find at your local comic shop and on digital this week, you’ll want to check out one or more of the following:

As a reminder, things can change and what you find on the above lists may differ from what’s actually arriving in your local shop. So check with your retailer to see what’s arriving at their shop this week.

Infernal Hulk #1 (Marvel, $4.99): Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Nic Klein deliver a nightmare in comics form, as the evil known as Eldest has literally torn Bruce Banner and the Hulk apart, and taken the Hulk’s body as their own. This new, unstoppable Infernal Hulk is 10 times the monster that everyone always feared Hulk would be, and their plan is transform the world’s heroes into nightmarish beasts.

Batman/Green Arrow/The Question: Arcadia #1 (DC Black Label, $5.99): Gabriel Hardman writes and draws a hardboiled modern twist on the DC social thrillers of the 1980s in this four-issue series. The original Question, Vic Sage, goes deep undercover on the trail of a human-trafficking operation in the frozen Arctic. Oliver Queen, pushed out of his own company’s C-suite, must get his life back together, but what is Queen Industries’ involvement with a mysterious project dubbed Arcadia? Spurred on by the Question, Green Arrow joins the hunt for answers, but one obstacle stands in their way … and his name is Batman.

BRZRKR: The Bleeding Tide #1 (BOOM! Studios, $11.99): Marjorie Liu and Garry Brown continue the story co-created by Keanu Reeves in this oversized special. When the Captain follows a strange heartbeat into the depths of the ocean, she finds a box chained in irons and the deformed mass of legendary warrior B. inside. Now awakened, B. must jump into battle to defend the crew from an ambush at sea despite rising concerns.

Arcadia #1 (Ignition Press, $4.99): The Miranda Bros. launch a science fiction series — also called “Arcadia” — where humanity has vanished and a new form of life rises from the ruins: the Serants, artificial beings born from mysterious technological chrysalises.

I Saw Santa: A Spawn Universe Christmas Story #1 (Image Comics, $5.99): Chris Killian, Andrew Sanders and Thomas Nachlik deliver a twisted holiday tale. Santa gives presents to the good kids and a stocking full of coal to the bad ones. But what happens when one disturbed child takes offense to Santa’s gift of coal and makes it his life’s mission to torment Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick? Sam and Twitch discover the bodies, but only Spawn can put an end to it in this two-issue series.

Daredevil/Punisher: The Devil’s Trigger #1 (Marvel, $4.99): Jimmy Palmiotti teams with Tommaso Bianchi, Chris Giarrusso and Philip Tan for another clash between Daredevil and the Punisher. Frank Castle is pitted against the Gnucci crime family for their most violent and visceral confrontation yet. As their conflict threatens to tear Hell’s Kitchen apart, it’ll fall to Daredevil to contain the chaos.

DC’s I Saw Ma Hunkel Kissing Santa Claus #1 (DC, $9.99): It’s another DC holiday anthology, as Ashley Allen, Nathan Cayanan, Steve Orlando, Jadzia Axelrod, Dave Baker, Marly Halpern-Glaser, Sebastian Bader and Ash Padilla team with Bruno Abdias, Michael Shelfer, Riley Rossmo, Hannah Templer, Nicole Goux and Anthony Marques for holiday romance tales. Supergirl kicks off her winter vacation with a blind date, Galaxy tries and fails to clear her superhero-ing schedule to spend Hanukkah with her sweetheart, and more.

Dead Head #1 (Iron Age Comics, $4.99): A.C. Medina and Gabriel Fonseca team for this off-the-wall slasherfest. Dead Head’s thirst for revenge leads him through dozens of slashers to the one and only Mauler Mason, a legendary killer who’s murdered thousands. This six-issue series promises maximum carnage for horror fans.

DC K.O. #2 (DC, $5.99): Scott Snyder and Javier Fernandez continue the tournament, as the 32 chosen champions compete to earn the Heart of Apokolips. The first challenge? Battling across a deadly arena to acquire new weapons of war. The greatest powers of the DC Universe are up for grabs, and whoever holds them will advance to the next level.

Also this week come three DC K.O. tie-in titles featuring the Flash, the Justice League and Superman:
