The group of young geniuses known as the Future Foundation will make their return in Fantastic Four #11 this May, along with an obscure villain who hasn’t appeared in decades.
Writer Ryan North will be joined by Ultimate Universe: Two Years In artist Patrick Boutin for a story that sounds like it could be crazy, in a really fun “Ryan North” kind of way. Not only will it feature the group of young scientists anchored by Franklin and Valeria Richards, but it also features the return of a villain from the 1990s — Crimeasaurus Rex, who was created by Evan Dorkin and appeared in the Fight Man #1 one-shot. He would go on to appear in a random issue of Agent X and … well, not really anywhere else. But he does seem poised for a comeback, because who doesn’t like dinosaurs? We know North is a fan.

The new storyline follows the “Invincible Woman” story that’s appearing in current issues:
The Invincible Woman has been defeated… but what comes next? And how can the Fantastic Four be ready for it, especially when they can’t actually agree on what the future looks like? And to make matters worse, Doom’s technology is now making its way into the world at large – including into the hands of two-bit criminals who are wholly unprepared for its awesome might! PLUS: The Future Foundation makes its return – as does a two-story A.I.M. plot of destruction from years ago! And all this happens as the Fantastic Four have their hands full… with the return of THE CRIMEASAURUS REX!
“This is our first really big story in the run – contrasting with the usual single issues (which we are still doing!) – and of course, bringing a story like that in for a landing is really satisfying,” North said. “I think it leaves Sue in a really interesting place. And of course, the Fantastic Four have encountered (and been pitched!) different versions of what a new Future Foundation could look like – and what they land on is exciting.”
All that, plus the issue will feature a back-up story by Stan Sakai, featuring the Fantastic Four battling the Mole Man.
The issue will feature a main cover by Humberto Ramos and variants by Ben Su, Simone Bianchi, Andrea Sorrentino and Rickie Yagawa:

Look for it to arrive on May 13.
