Following their announcement last month of the preliminary line-up for the upcoming Spider-Man/Superman crossover, Marvel has announced two additional stories and several new variant covers for the one-shot.
Marvel announced a star-studded creative line-up for the anthology in January, including new stories by Brian Michael Bendis, Sara Pichelli, Dan Slott, Brad Meltzer, Pepe Larraz and, in his forst work for Marvel in quite awhile, Geoff Johns — among many others.
Joining them will be Stephanie Phillips and Phil Noto, whose story will feature Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider and Supergirl.
“Spider-Gwen and Supergirl both represent different kinds of strengths and powers, but they’re united by their compassion and resilience,” Phillips said. “I really loved the chance to let these heroes save the day together and have fun doing it. And Phil Noto on art just takes it to another level. Kara, Gwen and I are lucky to have him!”
Jeph Loeb and Jim Cheung, meanwhile, will contribute a Spider-Mna/Superman team-up that harkens back to Loeb’s collaborations with Tim Sale on both characters.
“How often do you get to land on the moon? Travel back in time? Be a part of history? That’s what it was like when Marvel asked me to be part of Spider-Man/Superman!” Loeb said. “It’s a short story that I’d like to think emotionally connects with Spider-Man: Blue and Superman for All Seasons, two of my favorite things I’ve written. Then, the most incredible part is that the incomparable Jim Cheung is illustrating the story giving it the perfect feel! See you there!”
In addition, Marvel revealed several more variant covers for the one-shot, by Skottie Young, Humberto Ramos, Frank Miller, EM Gist and Gary Frank, along with a logo mash-up:

Look for it to arrive in stores in April.
