Feeling paranoid? Do strange things happen around you? Then the folks at Mind MGMT, the fictional (maybe?) organization created by Matt Kindt, would like to hear from you.
With the comic returning at Oni Press later this year as Kindt’s Flux House imprint prepares to relaunch with the publisher, they’re kicking off a fun promotion involving you, your phone and any psychic abilities you may have, as noted on this flyer:
I did call 912-MIND-MGMT (646-3646), when I received this, and was indeed selected to “proceed to the next phase of the Mind MGMT training protocol.” I’m also now signed up to receive promotional texts for Oni, in case you’re wondering what calling the number will bring. It’ll also give you access to a website that encourages you to visit a “local Mind MGMT training center.”
“We have strategically placed the required materials to hone your extraordinary abilities around the globe in a series of Mind MGMT-operated safehouses conveniently disguised as ‘comic book stores,'” the website reads.
I visit those all the time anyway and plan to be there on May 2 when Mind MGMT / Fort Psycho FCBD 2026 Special arrives on Free Comic Book Day. But hey, I’m up for honing my psychic abilities as well …
