Five-issue ‘Avengers: Armageddon’ series will launch in June

Chip Zdarsky, Frank Alpizar and Delio Diaz will set up a new era for the Avengers.

Marvel officially announced today that Avengers: Armageddon, a five-issue event series written by Chip Zdarsky with art by Frank Alpizar and Delio Diaz, will launch June 3. The event was first teased last year.

It’ll also feature General Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross, who has been Doom’s prisoner these last few months, as shown in the pages of Red Hulk, and of course the Fantastic Four.
