Head Lopper returns this April with an all-new story arc that marks roughly 10 years since Andrew MacLean’s cult-favorite fantasy series first debuted at Image in 2015. Launching with an extra-length issue, Head Lopper #1 drops readers back into the savage, monster-haunted world of Norgal the Relentless and his endlessly talkative, severed-witch-head companion, Agatha.

SDCC | Tyler Kirkham levels up to ‘Final Boss’ in November

Kirkham will write and draw the new series, which debuts at Image Comics this November.

Tyler Kirkham started his career at Top Cow, and has since done work for DC and Marvel — enough to get his own The Marvel Art of Tyler Kirkham book from Clover Press — but hasn’t done any creator-owned work at Image, until now. In the lead up to this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, Image has announced Final Boss, a new ongoing series written and drawn by Kirkham that will debut in November.

Final Boss is a culmination of everything I loved growing up as an ’80s and ’90s kid,” said Kirkham. “From the fan-favorite action heroes and beat ’em up arcade games to the groundbreaking energy of early Image comics. It’s a no-holds-barred nostalgic action adventure!”

Exclusive | Check out the trailer for ‘The Marvel Art of Tyler Kirkham’

The Kickstarter campaign for the deluxe hardcover launches this week.

Clover Press is back with another high-end collection in their “The Marvel Art Of …” line, this time focusing on Ultimate Fantastic Four and Phoenix Warsong artist Tyler Kirkham. And they’ve shared with us an exclusive look at the trailer for the book.

The Kickstarter campaign for the deluxe hardcover launches today.

“I am extremely excited to announce my official art book with Marvel comics and Clover Press,” said Kirkham. “It represents a comprehensive collection of my artwork for Marvel over the years, encompassing hundreds of covers and interior pages. I’m honored to have a book of this scale and quality coming out and I can’t wait for people to see it!”
