Last year’s Iron Fist 50th Anniversary Special ended on a bit of a downer, as it showed Danny Rand’s death … but then offered a glimmer of hope with a “bonus scene” you could access online that revealed he might not be so dead yet.
Well, he’s not quite so dead yet. Marvel has announced The Undead iron Fist, a four-issue miniseries by Jason Loo and Fran Galán that reveals what’s next for the character.
“I was so relieved to not encounter any fan backlash or outrage when I killed off Danny Rand. Because there was always a plan to bring him back, but we wanted to make the fans wait,” Loo said. “Not only was I busy plotting his next explosive chapter, Danny has been going through his own journey to find his way back into the 616 land of the living.
