With the Umbrella Academy a hit on Netflix, Dark Horse has announced a slew of new products related to the show — including a Christmas-themed one-shot featuring Hazel and Cha Cha, the masked assassins from the first comic series.
Although they didn’t mention the creators, I’m assuming for now it’ll be Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá (and I’ll update this if I find out differently). But here’s the description from Dark Horse:
And just in time for the holidays, a new one-shot comic Hazel and Cha Cha Save Christmas: Tales from the Umbrella Academy! In this all-new story, Hazel and Cha Cha—the bizarre assassins who first appear in The Umbrella Academy: Dallas and blew audiences away in the Netflix series—track down a rogue time agent, and cross paths with a plot to discredit Christmas! The 32-page comic goes on sale on November 20, 2019!
In addition, the The Umbrella Academy: Hotel Oblivion trade paperback will go on sale in September, and will be followed this fall by deluxe library editions of the first two series.
