Godzilla’s all over the place, whether you’re talking about all his various series over at IDW, the June DC solicitations that find him meeting the Justice League again or in Marvel’s own solicitations, where he once again is touring around the Marvel Universe and facing off with Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and, in June, with the Avengers.

David F. Walker and Georges Jeanty present the latest Godzilla vs. Marvel one-shot, as Godzilla continues his trip through time and comes into conflict with the Avengers team circa Brian Michael Bendis’ run in 2004 and beyond.

“As a child, I was raised on Godzilla movies, and as an adult, the New Avengers was a beautiful reminder of why I love comics,” Walker said. “The lineup of iconic characters in the New Avengers was a beautiful mix of quirky personalities and big adventures that kept me coming back every month. Bringing Godzilla and the New Avengers together for an epic showdown has allowed me to work with characters I have loved for a long time, in a way that I hope is as entertaining for fans to read as it was for me to write.”

Marvel shared more details on what to expect from the one-shot:

The original New Avengers return to face an unstoppable enemy – GODZILLA! In the aftermath of a massive battle between Godzilla, Fin Fang Foom, the Avengers and Jet Jaguar, S.H.I.E.L.D. tries to make sense of what went down – but everyone’s telling a different story! What really happened during that fateful clash? Find out when Earth’s Mightiest Heroes take on Earth’s Mightiest Kaiju!

Leinil Francis Yu, artist of New Avengers, provides the cover, with variants by Nick Bradshaw, Lee Garbett, Michael Allred and Mitsushiro Arita.

Greg Pak and Sumit Kumar present Death of the Silver Surfer in June, a five-issue miniseries that doesn’t sound like it’s going to end well for the former herald of Galactus:

The Silver Surfer returns to defend a war-ravaged Earth, but Norrin has a galaxy-sized target on his back. Facing a threat capable of stealing away everything he is or ever will be, a single human life may be all that decides the Surfer’s salvation…or damnation. If the Surfer falls, who then wields the awesome Power Cosmic?

Dike Ruan drew the main cover, with variants by Joe Quesada, Ron Lim, Nick Bradshaw and John Romita Jr. It comes out June 11.

Joe Quesada and Christopher Priest will team up for a new Black Panther miniseries in the spirit of their work on the character when he fell under the Marvel Knights banner. Marvel Knights: The World To Come is a six-issue miniseries that reimagines the future of the Marvel Universe, starting with the death of the Black Panther:

The King of Wakanda is DEAD, leaving unguarded the world’s most advanced technology, most precious metal, and a cryptic vault of dark secrets while triggering global conflicts among Marvel’s heroes, villains and mutants. With T’Challa gone and the future of the Marvel Universe teetering on a vibranium knife edge, a tribal challenge ensues for the Wakandan throne and its mysterious victor will emerge as the new leader of Wakanda and usher in THE WORLD TO COME.

“…I have the privilege of working with people more talented than I am,” Quesada said in his newsletter. “Christopher Priest is hands down one of the best writers in the industry, and Richard Isanove keeps reinventing what comic book coloring should look like. Oh, and my editor, Nick Lowe… yeah, he’s alright for a punk-ass kid. I’m involved or have been involved in almost every aspect of the entertainment world, but nothing satisfies me more than comics, and drawing this series, regardless of sales, reviews, etc., has been one of the highlights of my career.”

The first issue arrives June 4.

Miles Morales, a character born in the original Ultimate Universe who migrated to the 616, will find his way into the new Ultimate Universe in June. Ultimate Spider-Man: Incursion is a five-issue miniseries by Deniz Camp, Cody Ziglar and Jonas Scharf, and it will feature characters from all five Ultimate titles in addition to Miles and his little sister.

The popular video game Marvel Rivals will return to comics in June with Marvel Rivals: Ignite. The one-shot will feature stories by Japanese creators Peach Momoko, Yuji Kaku, Mitsuyasu Sakai and Ryusei Yamada, featuring some of the games characters — Venom, Hela, Punisher, Luna Snow and Peni Parker. Kaku provides the main cover, while Momoko and Yamada drew variants.

Marvel will celebrate 350 issues of Deadpool in June with issue #15 of the current run. The oversized issue will include stories by Cody Ziglar and Rogê Antônio, Sanshiro Kasama and Hikaru Uesugi, and Gerry Duggan and Matteo Lolli, who will introduce a new villain named Kurami.

“I was touched that editor Mark Basso asked Matteo Lolli and I to return for a Deadpool short for his 350th issue, and I needed to pause and think about what I might do if I were to go down memory lane. Then, I realized it would be better not to go home again at all, so I wanted to introduce someone new and fun that could be a gift to the character that was a gift to me,” Duggan said.

Deadpool #350 arrives June 25 with a cover by Taurin Clarke, a varaint by Lolli and a Marvel Studios Variant Cover that features concept art from Deadpool & Wolverine by Marvel Studios Visual Development Supervisor Rodney Fuentebella.

Jeff the Land Shark jumps into his own five-issue miniseries in June, courtesy of co-creator Kelly Thompson and artist Tokitokoro.

“Seeing Jeff rocket to stardom has been wild, and also exactly what he deserves,” Thompson said. “I’m obviously as biased as you can get, but what’s not to love about an adorable land shark that wants to be friends with and/or eat everything he sees?”

The first issue features a cover by co-creator Gurihiru and variants by Tokitokoro and Rian Gonzales. it comes out June 4.

Avengers Academy: Assemble #1 collects the Infinity Comic by Anthony Oliveira, Carola Borelli and Bailie Rosenlund featuring a new set of characters attending Avengers Academy, including Bloodline, Kid Juggernaut, Red Goblin and more. It comes out June 11.

Amazing Spider-Man gets the “Giant Size” treatment in June, and this oversized anthology will feature stories by Kevin Smith, Giuseppe Camuncoli, Al Ewing, Mark Buckingham, Chip Zdarsky and Cafu. Sporting a cover by Greg Capullo, it comes out June 11.

Speaking of which, while Amazing Spider-Man gets one Giant Size special, the X-Men are getting a bunch of them.

It’s the 50th anniversary of Giant-Size X-Men #1, which brought us Storm, Nightcrawler, Colossus and more so Marvel’s pulling out the stops with a whole series of Giant-Size specials that look back at pivotal X-Men stories like Age of Apocalypse and the Dark Phoenix saga, only with a twist — the event sees Ms. Marvel pulled into the distant past by an unstable and unleashed Legion, and as they fight through time they risk warping history and reality. Giant Size Dark Phoenix Saga kicks it off in June, by Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing with cover artist artist Adam Kubert and interior artist Rod Reis. Steve Foxe and Lucas Werneck will have a back-up story in the issue.

“The Dark Phoenix Saga is one of the enduring high water marks not just for X-Men comics, but super hero stories as a whole,” Lanzing and Kelly shared. “Claremont and Byrne changed the game with this story – and 45 years later, it’s still the kind of story you can return to again and again for renewed depth and brilliance. But what’s most exciting is digging into Jean Grey’s mindset during one of her strangest, darkest hours – as she finds a new friend in Kamala Khan.”

Kelly and Lanzing will team with CF Villa for Giant Size Age of Apocalypse, which comes out June 25. This one will feature a back-up story by one of Age of Apocalypse’s writers, Jeph Loeb, with artist Simone Di Meo (who also provides the variant cover).

And what the heck, let’s jump to July for the just-confirmed final two Giant Soze specials in this series. First, Kelly and Lanzing team with artist Francesco Manna for Giant Size House of M, which revisits the event that brought us “No More Mutants.” It features a back-up story by Saladin Ahmed and Martín Cóccolo, where they’ll reveal a memory Wolverine gained at the end of the original event. Look for it July 16.

And finally, Giant Size X-Men #2 comes 50 years after the original, and it features a story by Kelly, Lanzing and X-Men writer Jed Mackay, along with art by Adam Kubert. This one features the big final battle between Legion and Ms. Marvel:

Kamala Khan understands now what it truly means to be a mutant – but will that be enough to stand against the most powerful enemy she has ever faced? Will she truly stand alone? And how will the aftermath of this adventure change Kamala Khan forever? Adam Kubert returns to close out the event with his breathtaking art in this can’t miss issue that takes things back to present day!

It comes out July 30.

J. Michael Straczynski’s oddball team-up titles continue in June with Ghost Rider vs. Galactus, which features art by Juan Ferreyra, a cover by Terry Dodson and a variant by Declan Shalvey. Galactus has killed billions, and now he faces the Spirit of Vengeance.

Writer Cherish Chen and artist Gabriel Guzman will bring Doctor Aphra into the New Republic era in an ongoing series that starts in June:

After back-to-back hit 40-issue runs set during the Original Trilogy, Aphra embarks on her most unpredictable misadventures as the galaxy far, far away transforms in the wake of the Battle of Jakku. With her crimes pardoned, Aphra is enlisted by her friend Luke Skywalker to put her treasure hunting skills to good use on behalf of the New Republic!
