Star Trek: Lower Decks: Warp Your Own Way, written by Ryan North with art by Chris Fenoglio, Charlie Kirchoff and Jeff Eckleberry, won the 2025 Hugo Award in the “Best Graphic Story or Comic” category.
The graphic novel, which was published by IDW and edited by Heather Antos, features the cast of the popular animated series (which also won a Hugo Award) in a choose-your-own-adventure story involving different paths to death, destruction and coffee.

The award winners were announced this weekend at Seattle WorldCon, the 83rd World Science Fiction Convention. North attended the awards presentation in person, sporting a dapper suit, a Dinosaur Comics lapel pin and Star Trek cufflinks:
Presented annually since 1955, the Hugo Awards recognize the best science fiction in books, comics, movies, TV and more. The Hugo Award for Best Graphic Story has been awarded since 2009, with previous winners including volumes of Ms. Marvel, Girl Genius, LaGuardia, Far Sector and Monstress. Saga won the award last year.
