Today we have an exclusive peek at the artistic process behind the upcoming Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: The Ghost Ships of Labrador #1, arriving this November from Dark Horse Comics.

Hellboy creator Mike Mignola teams up with Judge Dredd writer Rob Williams for a chilling new two-part story, with stunning artwork from Hellboy universe veteran Laurence Campbell. In these exclusive layout and process pages, you can see Campbell’s approach to bringing this ghostly tale to life.

The story plunges Hellboy into a town besieged by supernatural forces, where spirits run rampant and a fellow B.P.R.D. agent has vanished into the paranormal maelstrom. It’s classic Hellboy horror—atmospheric, mysterious and packed with the occult danger fans love. Check out the process pieces below.
