Blade, Supergirl, Aquaman + Jeff the Land Shark star in new digital crossover comics you can read for free

New DC and Marvel crossover comics landed on their respective digital platforms today.

Following the release of their latest crossover, Superman/Spider-Man, DC and Marvel both released digital crossover comics today. And you can read both for free.

Marvel released It’s Jeff!/Aquaman, a one-shot by Kelly Thompson and Andres Genolet, on their Marvel Unlimited platform. If you have an account, even a free one, you can use code CROSSOVER26 at Marvel.com/redeem to snag yourself a copy.

In IT’S JEFF/AQUAMAN, it’s no day at the beach when Ken the Kaiju terrorizes Coney Island! It’ll take the aquatic alliance you’ve only dared dream of to turn the tide, as everyone’s favorite Land Shark, Jeff, and the legendary Aquaman unite to save the day!

And if you have an account on the DC Universe Infinite platform — again, even a free one — you can read Supergirl/Blade by CRC Payne, Mikel Janín and Hugo Petrus by visiting the DC Go area. It’ll be available for 30 days.

When Mojo kidnaps Supergirl and Blade to star in his latest over-the-top vampire romance series, the Girl of Steel and the Daywalker find themselves trapped on a soundstage where the cameras never stop rolling and the stakes are very real. Forced to battle bloodsucking foes, melodramatic tropes, and Mojo himself, the unlikely duo must team up and fight their way to freedom before the show’s final twist becomes their last.

I’ve already read this one, and it’s a fun story, mostly because of Mojo.

Marvel and DC also did this last November with Thor/Shazam! by Al Ewing and Jethro Morales appearing on Marvel Unlimited, while The Flash/Fantastic Four by Jeremy Adams and Adrián Gutiérrez arrived on DC Universe Infinite. The next crossover book, Spider-Man/Superman, will be published by Marvel later this month.

And for the trade waiters out there, here’s some good news — DC will collect their halves of the crossovers thus far, including Batman/Deadpool, Superman/Spider-Man, The Flash/Fantastic Four and Supergirl/Blade, in September, in the DC/Marvel: The Cosmic Kiss Caper & Other Stories hardcover. I haven’t seen any word yet on a Marvel collection, but I’m sure it is coming.
