At the New York Comic Con, DC Collectibles announced several Batman-related additions to their line or statues and props.
On the statue front, the Joker from Sean Murphy’s popular Batman: White Knight comic will debut in June of next year, along with a statue of the Merciless from Dark Knights: Metal by Greg Capullo and Harley Quinn by Frank Cho.
DC Collectibles also announced a new line dedicated to Batman’s cowls, as part of their DC Gallery line of prop replicas.
“In some instances, like the Bat-cowl, the accessories of the DC Universe are just as iconic as the characters,” said Jim Fletcher, executive creative director of DC Collectibles. “Our DC Gallery line makes these popular accessories the star of the piece and offers something new and different for collectors to display on their shelves. The new Bat-cowl line pays tribute to the Dark Knight’s different looks throughout his nearly 80-year history. Every fan has a favorite Batman, and our goal is to bring to life as many incarnations of the Caped Crusader’s signature cowl as we can, whether it be from comics or another source.”
The Rebirth cowl arrives next May, followed by the Arkham Asylum cowl in July.
In addition, DC Collectibles also revealed several new action figures in their DC Essentials action figure line:
