Awards season continues in earnest today as the Doug Wright Awards announced the 2017 nominees for “the best work and most promising talent in Canadian comics.”
Katherine Collins, creator of Neil the Horse Comics and Stories, is this year’s inductee to the Giants of the North, the Doug Wright Awards’ hall of fame. You can read more about her on the Doug Wright website.

Nominees for the 2017 Doug Wright Best Book Award, presented for the best book published in Canada (in English):

The Doug Wright Awards will be presented during the 2017 Toronto Comic Arts Festival, or TCAF, on May 14. A collection of Neil the Horse from Conundrum Press will debut at the show.
