‘Blackhand Ironhead’ debuts at Panel Syndicate

The first issue of David Lopez’s new “pay what you want” comic features family, superheroes and surprises.

Former Fallen Angel and Captain Marvel artist David Lopez returned to creator-owned comics today with Blackhand Ironhead, a “comedy about family, with superheroes, not about superheroes.” Like all of Panel Syndicate‘s titles, you can pay what you’d like for the first issue.

Here’s how the publisher describes the title: “Alexia wants to be the greatest hero of all time, but she’s got a problem, her father already IS the greatest hero of all time. And she’s about to discover she’s got an even BIGGER problem…”

Blackhand Ironhead joins Brian K. Vaughan and Marcos Martin’s The Private Eye and Barrier, and Albert Monteys’ Universe at the digital publisher. Check out a preview below.
