Conan’s favorite pirate queen will return in March for a five-issue miniseries from Marvel detailing part of her origin story.
Bêlit, Queen of the Black Coast brings together Tini Howard and Kate Niemczyk for a tale starring a teenage Bêlit, who stows away on the ship of the Dread Admiral Atrahasis.
In the original books, Belit is oft depicted as Conan's best girlfriend, a mad pirate queen with a killer body, a command of the seas, and a ship full of bloodthirsty sailors willing to fight and die at her command.
You're gonna see what else she's about, in this book.

Bêlit, who debuted in the story “Queen of the Black Coast” by Conan creator Robert E. Howard, was a staple of the previous Conan series published by Marvel and written by Roy Thomas. She played a major role in issues 58 to 100. She also appeared in the Dark Horrse series.
