Marvel returns to the ‘Edge of Spider-Verse’

Zander Cannon, Karla Pacheco, Pere Pérez and more present new stories starring Spider-Rex, Spinstress and more.

If you thought the Spider-Verse was ending — and why wouldn’t you? It was right there in the title, “End of Spider-Verse” — think again. Marvel has announced another Edge of Spider-Verse anthology miniseries that will feature more Spider-themed stories and characters.

The first issue will include a cover by Patrick Brown as well as:

  • A new Spider-Rex story by Karla Pacheco and Pere Pérez, as they introduce his nemesis Venomsaurus.
  • Zander Cannon of Kaijumax and Heck fame will introduce a new characetr called Spider-Killer.

And then in the second issue, David Hein, writer of the Broadway smash hit Come From Away, and artist Luciano Vecchio reunite for another Spinstress story. She’s the Disney princess Spider character who they had so much fun with in the first miniseries. Check out the cover by Brown:

Look for the first issue to rampage into stores on May 3, with the second issue singing its merry way into shops on May 31.
