Oni Press is bringing 15 years of Adventure Time comics together in a six-volume deluxe hardcover collection that’ll be available through a Kickstarter campaign.
The Adventure Time Deluxe Comics Library campaign, launching today, will collect more than 100 issues of the comics series in six oversized hardcover volumes, including material from the original 2012 run published by BOOM! Studios and Oni Press’ 2025 continuation.
Each volume will come with a Kickstarter-exclusive slipcase, with the books also available individually, as a six-volume bundle or through two limited-edition box sets themed around the Land of Ooo and Land of BMO.
“The Adventure Time Deluxe Comics Library slipcase editions are entirely Kickstarter exclusive and will never be made available in mass quantities anywhere else,” Oni Press Director of Business Development Sam Kusek said. “This campaign is a celebration of the comic adventures of Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum, Marceline … the list goes on and on.”
As an exclusive first look for Smash Pages, the campaign’s Land of Ooo box set will include a metal Jake the Dog bookmark and an Adventure Time sticker set:
The campaign will also offer facsimile editions of four key first issues: Adventure Time #1 from the original BOOM! Studios series by Ryan North, Shelli Paroline and Braden Lamb; Adventure Time Comics #1 by Art Baltazar, Katie Cook, Tony Millionaire and Kat Leyh; Oni’s 2025 Adventure Time #1 by Nick Winn; and Fionna & Cake Card Wars #1 by Jen Wang and Britt Wilson.
The collection features work from a long list of creators who have worked on Adventure Time comics over the years, including North, Mariko Tamaki, Delilah S. Dawson, Ryan North, Brenda Hickey, Jorge Corona, Christopher Hastings, Ian McGinty, Marguerite Sauvage, Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb and many others.
The Land of Ooo box set will package all six hardcover volumes in an exclusive travel box and include the Jake bookmark, sticker set, four Adventure Time #1 facsimiles, two prints, a rainbow-foil edition of Adventure Time: The Bubbline College Special by Caroline Cash, and a pack of five variant covers.
The BMO box set will include the six books in an exclusive BMO box, along with the bookmark, sticker set, #1 facsimiles, rainbow-foil Bubbline College Special, five variant covers and an original piece of art from one of the series’ artists.
