DC announces ‘Clayface: Celebrity Dirt’ for July

Jude Ellison S. Doyle and Fran Galán present a noir horror series starring the Batman villain.

Following the debut of the first footage from the upcoming Clayface movie, DC Comics has announced Clayface: Celebrity Dirt, a six-issue miniseries from writer Jude Ellison S. Doyle and artist Fran Galán that will launch in July.

Welcome your new, creepy ‘Neighbors’ in March

The new title by Jude Ellison S. Doyle, Letizia Cadonici and Alessandro Santoro will debut from BOOM! Studios.

Get out your welcome basket: writer Jude Ellison S. Doyle, artist Letizia Cadonici and colorist Alessandro Santoro will bring The Neighbors to BOOM! Studios later this year.

It’s described as “changeling horror” — which, according to folklore, was when a fairy stole a child and replaced them with a fairy.

“I am so excited for The Neighbors. It’s a story about what scared me as a kid, what scares me as a parent, and the terror that shadows queer and trans people who are raising families in 2022,” said Doyle. “Letizia Cadonici’s witchy, haunted art provides such a beautiful portal into this other world. I sincerely hope you’ll walk through and see what’s inside.”

BOOM! unleashes the horror miniseries ‘Maw’ in September

Journalist/opinion writer Jude Ellison S. Doyle and artist A.L. Kaplan team up for the five-issue series.

BOOM! Studios has announced Maw, a horror miniseries by journalist/opinion writer Jude Ellison S. Doyle and artist A.L. Kaplan, will debut in September.

Maw might be the most fun I’ve ever had as a writer,” said Doyle in the press release. “It’s a love letter to all the ways horror can tell powerful, subversive and transformative stories about gender, and it’s a big, messy chunk of my heart that I somehow got paid to throw on a page. It’s been an honor to work with BOOM! and A.L. Kaplan on this, and I can’t wait to share it with you. Maw transformed me.”
