Marvel’s November 2026 solicitations are here, and while we’ve already covered several of the month’s bigger announcements like X-Orcists, Jean Grey, Spider-Woman and other new titles, there are more books worth highlighting.
Among them are a new Ghost Rider: Kushala one-shot collecting the character’s Marvel Infinity Comic adventures, a particularly adorable Marvel Meow/Strange Scales team-up, and the news that Dan Slott and Marcus To’s Spectacular Spider-Man is no longer a miniseries.
So let’s get to it …
Uncle Scrooge: A Christmas Carol #1

Louise Simonson takes on one of the most famous Christmas stories AND one of Disney’s most famous ducks in Uncle Scrooge: A Christmas Carol #1. The holiday one-shot will feature artwork by several Disney artists, including Fabio Celoni, Francesco D’Ippolito, Paolo Mottura and Marco Mazzarello.
“Uncle Scrooge, Donald and the kids were the heroes in some of my favorite stories when I was a kid—in fact, the Duck books were the only comics I ever had a subscription to. I loved their humor, their conflicts, and their quirky personalities and writing my own Uncle Scrooge: A Christmas Carol was a dream come true, ” Simonson said
In the story, Scrooge will encounter the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future in a story that draws inspiration from the Charles Dickens’ classic. Donald Duck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Ludwig Von Drake, Gyro Gearloose and other familiar faces will also appear as Scrooge considers whether his family might actually be worth more than everything in his Money Bin.
Hopefully he’ll figure out that family is important, and speaking of which, Louise’s husband, Walt Simonson, provides the main cover. Uncle Scrooge: A Christmas Carol #1 arrives in comic shops Nov. 18.
Spectacular Spider-Man continues

Dan Slott and Marcus To have been given more time on Spectacular Spider-Man. and in November they’ll take him into the “Big Time” era. Marvel has extended the miniseries into an ongoing series, and have dropped the “Brand New Day” from the title with Spectacular Spider-Man #6.
The issue picks up the threads planted throughout the first five issues, as the story moves beyond Peter Parker’s “Brand New Day” era and into “Big Time,” the era that saw Peter get a job at Horizon Labs. Issue #6 will continue the story of Turncoat, whose full debut came in the previous issue, while introducing a new villain called the Scavenger. CBR’s Brian Cronin has more on Marvel’s decision to turn the series into an ongoing title.
And with the 50th anniversary of The Spectacular Spider-Man just around the corner, Marvel promises that there are “big-time plans” ahead.
The issue features a cover by Humberto Ramo. Spectacular Spider-Man #6 arrives Nov. 18.
Challenges of Doom: Doctor Strange #1

The era of Doom continues in the lead-up to Avengers: Doomsday, with November bringing another Doom-themed one-shot. Al Ewing and Christian Rosado pit two of Marvel’s most powerful magic users against each other in Challenges of Doom: Doctor Strange #1. The story sees Doctor Doom and Doctor Strange battle across time and space, encompassing the metaphysical and physical realms as well as the past and future.
Challenges of Doom: Doctor Strange #1 arrives Nov. 4.
Marvel Meow/Strange Scales #1

The cats of the Marvel Universe collide with Doctor Strange’s snakes in Marvel Meow/Strange Scales #1, an all-ages one-shot featuring stories by Nao Fuji and João M.P. Lemos. The comic collect Marvel Meow #19-24 and Strange Scales #1-6, which original appeared on Marvel’s digital comics app. There’s also a new story that brings together the animal stars of both stories.
Ghost Rider: Kushala #1

This supersized one-shot collects the complete run of the Ghost Rider: Kushala Infinity Comic by writers B. Earl and Taboo, and artists Guillermo Sanna and Vanesa R. Del Rey.
The story features Kushala, the Apache Sorcerer Supreme of the 1800s who is also the Ghost Rider known as the Spirit Rider, as she travels across the past, present and future of the Marvel Universe.
Kushala is unique among the Ghost Riders in that she’s managed to tame her Spirit of Vengeance. But when her ancestral line becomes the target of an unknown threat, she’s forced into a much larger conflict that spans Marvel history. The 88-page story is being published as part of Marvel’s celebration of Native American Heritage Month. Look for it on Nov. 4.
Momo-Tone Variant Covers
Marvel will release a series of “Momo-tone” variant covers in November, created by artist Peach Momoko. Momoko used screentones, which are adhesive sheets traditionally used in manga to create dynamic shades of gray and dramatic shadows, in creating the covers.
“When I was in school, I always wanted to use screentones for my artwork, but they were too expensive for me to afford. Now, I have the opportunity and decided to challenge myself by using screentones for these new Marvel covers,” the artist said. “But an obstacle emerged. How to color using watercolor paint on these screentones? So instead of painting on top of the screentones (risking the art warping), I tried and found that painting on the back of the canvas was very effective! It created a very clean, soft tone color palette that comes through the painting when light passes through from behind. I always enjoy these trial and error challenges and discovering the best methods of painting.”
You can check out the covers that have been revealed so far above, with more on the way.
