Fantagraphics announces ‘Keeping Two’ by Jordan Crane

The new graphic novel arrives in March of 2022.

Jordan Crane, creator of NON, The Last Lonely Saturday, We Are All Me and The Clouds Above, will return with a new graphic novel next year. Fantagraphics will publish Keeping Two in March.

“I could not be more proud to publish Keeping Two,” said Fantagraphics VP/Associate Publisher Eric Reynolds. “It’s a works of comics by a master cartoonist at the very peak of his form. But it’s also a profoundly affecting story that I think strives to bring people closer by reminding us of our shared experience as human beings, at a time when we could really use it.”

DC’s ‘Whistle’ OGN will introduce a new hero to Gotham City

The new hero Whistle will encounter the Riddler, Poison Ivy and Killer Croc in her debut graphic novel.

DC Comics has revealed more details on their upcoming YA graphic novel Whistle: A New Gotham City Hero by author E. Lockhart and artist Manuel Preitano.

As the title suggests, it’ll introduce a new hero to Gotham, Whistle, who fights crime with her dog, Lebowitz. It will also feature several Gotham villains, like Killer Croc, Poison Icy and the Riddler, who is a “family friend” and plays a big part in the story.

Titan to publish a ‘Cowboy Bebop’ comic that ties into the Netflix series

Dan Watters and Lamar Mathurin will bring the infamous space cowboys to comics in December.

Netflix is adapting the worldwide anime phenomenon Cowboy Bebop into a live-action series this November, and Titan Comics has announced they’re doing the tie-in comic — along with a prequel novel and an art book.

Cowboy Bebop: The Comic Series will be a four-issue miniseries by Home Sick Pilots writer Dan Watters and artist Lamar Mathurin. The first issue debuts in December, with a trade paperback collection following next May.
