Ben Stenbeck, whose art can be found across the Mignolaverse in Baltimore, Hellboy and the BPRD, Witchfinder and more, is branching out with his own creator-owned series coming from Image Comics this December.
He’s joined by renowned Hellboy colorist Dave Stewart and letterer Rus Wooton for Our Bones Dust, a four-issue miniseries featuring cannibals and AI set in a dystopian future.
“I’m really excited to get my first solo series out into the world,” said Stenbeck. “My aim was to make something I would enjoy reading myself. It’s very different to any of the work I’ve done before but I hope still as entertaining in its own way.”

A feral child, equal parts predator and prey, navigates a nightmare landscape of brutality and blood inhabited by scattered cannibal tribes. An interesting place to poke around for a curious Artificial Intelligence.
