Titan Comics will bring Moon Eaters, the latest graphic novel by Polar creator Victor Santos, to English language audiences this October. The story of one really bad night in the life of a recently released convict was crowdfunded by Santos back in 2021.
The story follows Tommy Blackfoot, freshly released from prison and hoping to start over with June, the woman who stood by him through years of correspondence. Their reunion is cut short when the Children of Hati, a violent cult Tommy once escaped, track him down and force him into a brutal fight for survival.

Santos is best known for his creator-owned crime series Polar, which was adapted into a Netflix film in 2019, as well as Filthy Rich and Violent Love.
“If you feel curiosity about the plot, let me tell you that the ‘sell-the-movie’ concept (with TV show examples) is Banshee meets Supernatural and I think it’s a good definition,” Santos said on his Substack. “It’s also all the things I (and surely you) love from John Carpenter’s movies. It’s my personal tribute to movies like Assault of Precinct 13, Escape from New York or In the Mouth of Madness but all of them in the same book.”
