Vote for your favorite by June 2.
DC’s Round Robin tournament, which asks fans to vote on which pitch should become a series, has entered its final round. Voting is now open on the DC Community site and ends June 2.
On one side you have Robins, by the creative team of Tim Seeley, Baldemar Rivas, Romulo Fajardo Jr. and Steve Wands. They made it past Green Lanterns: Underworld on Fire in the previous round. On the other side, you have Suicide Squad Seven, by Rex Ogle, Diogenes Neves, Rex Lokus and Tom Napolitano, which beat out Blue Beetle.
They’re two different kinds of stories; on the one hand, you have a bunch of former Batman proteges teaming up; on the other, El Dorado! If you’re having a hard time deciding, DC has provided 10 page previews of both titles, starting with Robins:

New title will debut in July.
The prolific horror/superhero comics writer Cullen Bunn will team with artists Kyle Strahm and Baldemar Rivas for a new horror series titled Unearth at Image Comics.
“I feel so lucky to be working with Kyle and Baldemar on this book,” said Bunn. “Kyle and I have such similar sensibilities when it comes to horror, but there are enough differences in our tastes that we challenge each other. And Baldemar! What an amazing talent! And he has helped us to push the boundaries of what this tale of terror is all about. We want this story to be something different and shocking and fun and surprising, and I think we’ve succeeded!”
Image describes Unearth as “The X-Files meets Jeff Vandermeer’s Annihilation” and said it involves a flesh-warping disease that ravages a remote village in Mexico. A scientific task force traces the source of the disease to a nearby cave system, where they discover a bizarre, hostile ecosystem and a supernatural revelation from which they may never escape.

‘Shitty Dark Knight’ brings together Dave Baker, Andrew MacLean, Jim Rugg, Zack Soto and more for the ‘worst possible execution’ of Miller’s classic comic.
In a week full of news and announcements about comics and related stuff, this right here is the one that most intrigues me. Several creators, including Zack Soto, Paul Maybury, Malachi Ward and Jim Rugg, have come together to “redraw” The Dark Knight Returns, the classic Frank Miller/Klaus Janson/Lynn Varley magnum opus from the 1980s. Their goal is to see how well the visual storytelling holds up.
Titled Shitty Dark Knight, the book can be pre-ordered from Dave Baker’s online store, and will also be available this week at Comic-Con International.
