Ghost Fox takes a radical trip back in time in this preview of ‘Archie Jumbo Comics’ #343

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

If you’re still coming to terms with the fact that Riverdale has aired its last episode ever, fear not — the comic book adventures of Archie and his friends continue every week. And this week, thanks to Archie Comics, we have a preview of two new stories appearing in next week’s Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #343.

The first story features Archie, Dilton and Moose helping out Nevada Jones with harvesting the Nevada Orchard fruit trees, with a little “help” from Dilton’s drones. Things do not go well in this story by Ian Flynn, Pat Kennedy, Jim Amash, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli.

In the second story, Ghost Fox is preoccupied with 1985 when he is accidentally transported back in time thanks to one of Dilton’s machines. (Are we sure it’s a good idea for this kid to have access to technology?) This totally tubular story is by Dan Parent and Bob Smith, along with Whitmore and Morelli.

Check them both out below, along with a classic Archie story featuring Archie cowboying up after a relative gifts him a pair of boots.

Ghost Fox leaps back into action in ‘World of Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics’ #28

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Archie Comics has shared a preview with us of World of Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics #28, which will feature two new stories in addition to a whole lot of classic material. It arrives in stores Aug. 23.

The first story, by Bill Golliher and Jim Amash, features the return of Ghost Fox, the son of the Fox. Betty and Veronica are on the case to try and figure out who this mystery man really is.

In the second story, Tom DeFalco teams with Bill and Ben Galvan for a story featuring Little Betty and Veronica. They team up with Captain Valor to keep a rare Egyptian vase safe — owned by Veronica’s dad — safe from a thief.

Both stories feature colors by Glenn Whitmore and letters by Jack Morelli. You can find the previews, along with a complete classic Betty & Veronica story, below.

Nevada Jones rides again while Kevin Keller has eyes for Ghost Fox in ‘Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #312

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Courtesy of our friends at Archie Comics, we’re happy to present a preview of two new stories from Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #312, which comes out March 15.

The first story, “Real Horse Power,” features a classic Archie deep cut, Nevada Jones. The “Cattle Detective” appeared in back-ups stories in Pep Comics and Zip Comics back in the day, and his modern equivalent appears in a story set at the Lodge Ranch (You might be asking, “Veronica’s dad owns a ranch?” Of course he does). This one is by Ian Flynn, the Kennedy Brothers, Bob Smith, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli.

The second story features the return of Ghost Fox, who we saw last week trying to save his dad from Mr. Smile. This time around, he’s being investigated, but not by a villain — Kevin Keller wants to know who the new kid is from Red Circle High, and he enlists Veronica to help him figure it out. Flynn also wrote this one, with Steven Butler and Jim Amash providing the artwork, and Whitmore and Morelli on colors and letters, respectively.

Below you’ll find previews of both stories, plus, in keeping with the horse theme, a classic story featuring Betty and Veronica at the Riverdale Riding Academy.
