Veronica + Betty help the Shield with her holiday shopping in this preview of ‘Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #319

Check out an exclusive preview of a new story coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Archie Comics has shared a preview with us of Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics #319, which will feature a new holiday story starring Betty, Veronica and the Shield.

In “Holiday Heist,” Victoria Adams, aka the Shield, needs help with her holiday shopping — something Veronica knows a thing or two about. Veronica takes our hero to an auction house, where the prices are a bit out of Victoria’s range, but I bet the two shady guys in trench coats will come into play. This story’s by Ian Flynn, Bill Galvan, Jim Amash, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli.

Check out the preview below, along with a complete Josie and the Pussycats story by FRank Doyle and Dan DeCarlo.

Nevada Jones rides to the rescue in this preview of ‘Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #317

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Courtesy of Archie Comics, we’re pleased to present a preview of two new stories from Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #317, which comes out Sept. 6.

In the first story, Hiram Lodge invites Nevada Jones to check out his new Western-themed attraction — which happens to be populated with out-of-this-Westworld robot versions of the cowboy. Ian Flynn, Pat Kennedy, Bob Smith, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli bring this one to life.

Then in the second story, Jack Chang is back to help Betty and Veronica solve the mystery of a vanishing case of money at Riverdale’s annual charity cricket match. Tom DeFalco, Steven Butler, Lily Butler, Whitmore and Morelli are the creative team for this “Whodunit?”

Check out both previews below, along with a complete Josie and the Pussycats story by Frank Doyle and Dan DeCarlo.

Captain Commando offers Shark Fiend swimming lessons in this preview of ‘Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics’ #316

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Archie Comics has shared a preview with us of Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics #316, which will feature two new stories in addition to a whole lot of classic material.

In the first new story, Mr. Lodge has hired Captain Commando to endorse his new water park, and it’s a good thing he did, as Shark Fiend shows up to cause trouble. Writer Ian Flynn, artist Steven Butler, inker Lily Butler, colorist Glenn Whitmore and letterer Jack Morelli jump into the deep end for this one.

The second story features the return of Fu Chang, International Detective, as a classic video game cartridge goes missing from the Riverdale Museum. Not only does this one offer up a parody of Knives Out, but it also has some fun with the name of the video game that fans of Hyrule and Sabrina the Teenage Witch will appreciate. Writer Francis Bonnet and artist Rex Lindsey are joined by Whitmore on this one.

Check out both previews below, along with a complete classic story featuring Betty Cooper.

Courtesy of Archie Comics, we’re pleased to help you kick off the summer with a preview of a new story from Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #315, which comes out June 28.

Writer Ian Flynn and artist Holly G! reunite Archie with Darkling, the mystical superhero from the 1980s who he has had his eye on in the past. Darkling’s not really a fan of the beach, but Archie wants to prove that the beach can be fun. Inker Jim Amash, colorist Glenn Whitmore and letterer Jack Morelli help bring this one to life.

Check out the preview below, along with this issue’s cover by Dan Parent and a complete, classic story starring Sabrina the Teenage Witch by Frank Doyle and Stan Goldberg.

The Web comes to Riverdale in ‘Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #313

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Courtesy of Archie Comics, we’re happy to present a preview of two new stories from Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #313, which comes out April 19.

The publisher continues to team their vintage superhero characters with the Riverdale gang in this volume, starting with a character I don’t think we’ve seen yet in one of these digests — The Web. The character first debuted in the 1940s and has been brought back several times since then as part of the various Mighty Crusaders revamps over the year. In this story, the Web is actually Wyatt Raymond, the son of the original Web and original Pow-Girl. When Veronica’s purse goes missing, he uses his sleuthing know-how to help her find it. Writer Ian Flynn teams with Dan Parent, Bob Smith, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli on this one.

Then in the second story, Dr. Zardox and his giant robotic death machine are on a rampage in Riverdale, and it’s up to the Crusaders and the Superteens to stop the madness. This one is also written by Flynn, with art by Bill Galvan, Jim Amash, Whitmore and Morelli.

Check out the previews for both stories below along with the credits and description, as well as a complete classic story written and drawn by Dan Parent.

Nevada Jones rides again while Kevin Keller has eyes for Ghost Fox in ‘Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #312

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Courtesy of our friends at Archie Comics, we’re happy to present a preview of two new stories from Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #312, which comes out March 15.

The first story, “Real Horse Power,” features a classic Archie deep cut, Nevada Jones. The “Cattle Detective” appeared in back-ups stories in Pep Comics and Zip Comics back in the day, and his modern equivalent appears in a story set at the Lodge Ranch (You might be asking, “Veronica’s dad owns a ranch?” Of course he does). This one is by Ian Flynn, the Kennedy Brothers, Bob Smith, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli.

The second story features the return of Ghost Fox, who we saw last week trying to save his dad from Mr. Smile. This time around, he’s being investigated, but not by a villain — Kevin Keller wants to know who the new kid is from Red Circle High, and he enlists Veronica to help him figure it out. Flynn also wrote this one, with Steven Butler and Jim Amash providing the artwork, and Whitmore and Morelli on colors and letters, respectively.

Below you’ll find previews of both stories, plus, in keeping with the horse theme, a classic story featuring Betty and Veronica at the Riverdale Riding Academy.
