Chichester returns to Daredevil for the first time since the 1990s for ‘Daredevil: Black Armor’

The retro miniseries kicks off in November.

Writer D.G. Chichester and artist Netho Diaz will return to the scene of the crime in Daredevil: Black Armor, a “retro” series from Marvel that will return to the time period when Daredevil wore armor.

“If someone told me earlier that I’d have another chance to put on Daredevil’s horns (let alone horns attached to a suit of black armor) I’d have thought they’d taken one too many whacks to the head with a billy club. Chichester wrote Daredevil for about four years in the early 1990s, including the “Fall of the Kingpin” storyline. He also wrote the Daredevil/Batman crossover that came out in 1997, but hasn’t done much in comics since the 1990s.
