Legendary X-Men writer Chris Claremont will return to Marvel next year for a new series starring Gambit.
Claremont will team with artist Sid Kotian, creator of Beneath an Alien Sky on Webtoon, while former X-Men artist Whilce Portacio provides what I assume is a cover:
The Marvel.com post is very short on details, but the young Storm clinging to Gambit’s back suggest this title may be set in the past — circa Uncanny X-Men #248-ish, when the Nanny reverted Storm back to a child, the Shadow King attempted to capture her and we were introduced to Gambit.
Marvel promises more details in the new year.
