Slugfest is a roundup of cool announcements about projects coming to a shelf near you from comics creators, publishers and more. Some of these are from this weekend’s New York Comic Con, while some are from before. Hit the links for more information.

DC held a panel focused on the Batman titles yesterday during New York Comic Con, revealing some new artwork and one new project — Multiversity: Harley Screws Up the DCU. It’s by Frank Tieri and Logan Faerber, both of whom have worked on the character before.

NYCC: Marvel announces new projects featuring Captain Britain, X-23 and more

The Women of Marvel panel also revealed a new miniseries starring Mr. and Mrs. X themselves, Rogue and Gambit.

Marvel announced several new projects during the Women of Marvel panel at New York Comic Con yesterday, including three that put the spotlight on some of Krakoa’s finest.

Betsy Braddock, aka Captain Britain, will jump into her own series next February, courtesy of Tini Howard and Vasco Georgiev. Check out the first issue’s cover by Erica D’Urso:
