Oni Press and Archie Comics announce wave of classic collections for fall 2026

The publishers will release seven collected editions spanning 85 years of Archie history, alongside the three new ongoing series that were previously announced.

Oni Press and Archie Comics have announced a robust slate of new collections timed to the 85th anniversary of Archie Andrews’ debut, with the first titles arriving in September 2026.

The announcement, made ahead of this week’s ComicsPro industry meeting, includes seven collected editions across two formats: a line of compact editions reprinting stories from the “New Riverdale” era, and a series of premium deluxe hardcovers spanning decades of Archie history.

The releases coincide with the three all-new series that Oni and Archie previously announced for this fall, including Archie by W. Maxwell Prince, Fábio Moon and Nick Cagnetti; Sabrina the Teenage Witch by Corinna Bechko and Kano; and Archie in Hell by Patrick Horvath and Tyler Crook.

“We’re so thrilled to be deepening Oni’s exciting new partnership with Archie Comics even further beyond our slate of brand-new, upcoming series and far into the most beloved corners of the Archie library with a selection of Riverdale’s most cherished stories from recent decades,” said Sierra Hahn, Oni Press Editor-in-Chief. “Whether you’re a longtime Archie devotee or a first-time reader, each of these volumes is a warm, welcome introduction to this storied cast of characters. Oni + Archie announce a publishing partnership

Oni will publish comic series, collections and graphic novels featuring the Archie characters beginning in the fall of 2026.

Oni Press has announced that they’re partnering with Archie Comics to publish a new line of comics and graphic novels featuring the Archie characters. The partnership will begin next fall.

“From the world of comics – where Archie’s stories led so many to pick up their very first comic book – to the long-running success of Riverdale, Archie’s cherished cast of characters have few rivals in terms of their visibility or influence on global pop culture,” said David Steward II, Chairman of the Oni-Lion Forge Publishing Group. “This new partnership is one of the most significant moments in Oni Press’ three decades as a leading publisher of independent comics, and, in collaboration with the Archie team, we look forward to writing a memorable new chapter in the history of these legendary characters that will set the stage for decades worth of stories yet to come.”

The first three series they’re teasing are Archie by W. Maxwell Prince, Fábio Moon and Nick Cagnetti; Sabrina the Teenage Witch by Corinna Bechko and Kano; and Archie in Hell by Patrick Horvath and Tyler Crook. Based on the creators invovled, these sound like they’ll continue the spirit of the “new” Archie and the Archie Horror lines we’ve seen in the past.

Look, up in the sky, it’s … Wilbur? Galaxy Man arrives in ‘Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #335

Check out a preview of a new story by Dan Parent coming next month from Archie Comics.

Courtesy of Archie Comics, we’re pleased to share a preview of Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #335, which arrives in stores June 4.

The digest’s new story, written and drawn by Dan Parent, features an all-star red carpet for the opening of the Galaxy Man movie, with appearances by the Mighty Crusaders, Katy Keene and … Wilbur Wilkin? Wilbur lands a gig dressing up as the movie’s hero, but when he runs into trouble, he needs a hero of his own. Inker Bob Smith, colorist Glenn Whitmore and letterer Jack Morelli join Parent on this story.

Labor Day has always marked the end of summer for me, as we shift from August to September and from hot sun to cooler weather (well, in theory, anyway). This week the harvest is bountiful, as it includes Minor Arcana, Jeff Lemire’s new title about the daughter of a fake psychic who may be a real psychic; the appropriately titled The Autumn Kingdom by Cullen Bunn and Christopher Mitten; a milestone Poison Ivy issue; and a new series spotlighting Groot.

The Wicked Trinity brings trouble to movie night for Sabrina in this preview of ‘Archie Jumbo Comics’ #352

Check out an exclusive preview of a new story coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Seeing Sabrina the Teenage Witch in the classic Riverdale setting is always magical, but in this preview of Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #352, her appearance unfortunately comes with some baggage — in the form of her nemesis, Amber Nightstone, and her Wicked Trinity minions.

Fresh off their recent appearance in their own one-shot, Amber, Jade Kazane and Sapphire Gill are looking to make trouble for Sabrina as she attempts to set up a “horror movie fest” for her friends in Riverdale. But I’m sure Sabrina and Salem have some tricks of their own in store for the Wicked Trinity.

The story is by Tania Del Rio, with art by Holly G! and Jim Amash, coloring by Glenn Whitmore and lettering by Jack Morelli, and a cover by Dan Parent.

Jughead + Jaguar are up to their necks in gangsters in this preview of ‘World of Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #32

The U.G.A.J. returns to comics, but does it stand for “United Girls Against Jughead” or “United Gangsters Against Jaguar”?

Courtesy of Archie Comics, we’re pleased to present a preview of a new story featuring Jughead, Jaguar, Superteen and Powerteen from World of Betty and Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #32, which comes out May 1.

The story calls back to an organization from the 1960s Jughead comics — United Girls Against Jughead. Because Jughead was anti-romance, the girls of Riverdale were afraid his opinions might influence the other boys he hung around with. So they formed U.G.A.J., and came up with plans to undermine him, like using food to try to lure him into a romantic relationship of his own. Man, the 1960s, am I right?

In this new story by Francis Bonnet, Rex Lindsey and Glenn Whitmore, Jughead discovers a secret hideout marked with the letters “UGAJ,” but they mean something different here — “United Gangsters Against Jaguar,” the heroine who recently starred in her own one-shot. When both Jughead and Jaguar are captured by the gangsters, it’s up to Betty and Veronica, as Powerteen and Superteen, to save them.

Head to the beach with Archie and Darkling in this preview of ‘Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #315

Check out an exclusive preview of a new story coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Writer Ian Flynn and artist Holly G! reunite Archie with Darkling, the mystical superhero from the 1980s who he has had his eye on in the past. Darkling’s not really a fan of the beach, but Archie wants to prove that the beach can be fun. Inker Jim Amash, colorist Glenn Whitmore and letterer Jack Morelli help bring this one to life.
