Jeremy Robinson + Tiago Palma bring ‘One Zero Zero One Saves the World’ to Vault Comics

Vault will publish the science-fiction series, based on a character Robinson originally created when he was 18 years old.

A character Jeremy Robinson created more than 30 years ago is finally making his debut this fall. Vault Comics has announced One Zero Zero One Saves the World, a new science-fiction comic series written by Robinson, drawn and lettered by Tiago Palma and colored by Manuel Rodriguez. The first issue is scheduled for November.

The series follows 1001, a genetic experiment who awakens hundreds of years after a post-apocalyptic catastrophe. Confused and alone, 1001 quickly discovers that his ability to adapt to virtually any threat is going to be put to the test when he finds himself hunted by a pack of vicious creatures.

Vault Comics + novelist Jeremy Robinson launch supernatural horror series ‘Excommunicated’ in May

The series pairs a faithful nun with a festering demon after a botched exorcism leaves them cast out from the church and from hell.

Vault Comics will publish Excommunicated, a new supernatural horror/”buddy cop” series written by novelist Jeremy Robinson and illustrated by Tiago Palma, beginning in May.

They’ll be joined by colorist Manuel J. Rodriguez, letterer Jim Campbell and designer Tim Daniel on the series, which features an excommunicated nun and an exorcised demon thrown out of hell teaming up to save the world.

“My whole life I’ve been what people call ‘steeped in the Bible.’ I’ve incorporated this knowledge into my novels the way I do other religions and mythologies, but I really wanted to use my recent discoveries regarding original translations of the Biblical texts that fundamentally change the game—specifically concerning the satan (yes, lowercase) and the strange beings known as Elohim,” Robinson said. “Me being me, I wrote a story that is sinister, action-packed, and funny, but made even cooler by a supernatural backdrop far more interesting than what we’ve all been taught in Sunday school and by Hollywood.”

School is back in session in ‘X-Men United’

Eve L. Ewing and Tiago Palma open the doors to Graymatter Lane, a place where mutants can ‘come together to fight, hook up and hash out their differences.’

The X-Men will return to their roots in March in X-Men United, as Eve L. Ewing and Tiago Palma bring together mutants from different eras at a new academy called Greymatter Lane.

The new academy will serve as “the central hub” for mutants around the world, boosting a staff that includes Wolverine, Beast, Storm, Magneto, Rogue and its founder, Emma Frost. But not every mutant will be a fan.

“Working on the X-team for the past couple of years has been some of the most fun I’ve had writing comics ever,” Ewing said. “The idea for Graymatter Lane was a collective one, from lots of writers in a room brainstorming, and it’s so cool because the psychic space allows for things to be weirder and more surreal, while still building on the classic Xavier’s School energy we’ve all loved for decades.”
