Wild’s End, the alien invasion story starring anthropomorphic characters by writer Dan Abnett and artist I.N.J. Culbard, will return later this year after a five-year absence.
Simply titled Wild’s End, the new series marks the fourth volume of the series, which first debuted in 2014. The third volume wrapped up in 2018.
“Ian and I are regular partners-in-crime, and I’m delighted to be returning to BOOM! Studios with him to create a new chapter of our all-time favorite collaboration, Wild’s End,” Abnett said in a press release.
Described as “War of the Worlds meets Wind in the Willows,” the new series will add a little Titanic to the mix, as a ship that was out to see when the aliens invaded returns home to find a very different world waiting for them.
“It’s great to be back in the Wilds with Dan and the team at BOOM! I’m really excited to be working in this world again and introducing regular and new readers to a whole new cast of characters,” said Culbard.
