Zoe Tunnell and Lauren Knight are back with another issue of Sink Your Teeth In, their mature sapphic vampire noir set in a Chicago divided by four rival factions of powerful undead. The comic is coming from the DEATHline imprint of Lifeline Comics, the publisher headed up by Kat Calamia and Phil Falco.
The series follows Corsica Smith, a vampire P.I. who has fallen far from her once-elite status, and Florence Carmichael, the woman who turned her decades ago and now needs Corsica’s help.

Knight co-created Golden Rage at Image Comics, while Tunnell has written for Marvel and Power Rangers.

The Gods and Monsters of Hedgrave

Jordan Thomas and Chris Matthews, the British creative team behind Mugshots and Exorcism Island, are funding a 120-page original graphic novel set in 1930s England that blends family drama with alien conspiracy, Nazi intrigue and body horror.
The story follows William Wendell, a mild-mannered tinkerer invited to apprentice under three of the era’s most celebrated inventors in the picturesque village of Hedgrave, only to discover that the opportunity may cost him everything he loves. Thomas says the book has been in development for three years and couldn’t find a publisher willing to take a chance on it, so the pair are self-funding it through Kickstarter. It’s mostly black and white, and the full story is told in one volume.
