Writer Bill Golliher is joined this time by the art team of Holly G!, Jim Amash, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli. In this story, Wonder Teen X shows up at the local museum when She-Vil, an ancient spirit from Sumeria, is accidentally released. Betty and Veronica, a.k.a. The Wicked Trinity brings trouble to movie night for Sabrina in this preview of ‘Archie Jumbo Comics’ #352

Check out an exclusive preview of a new story coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Seeing Sabrina the Teenage Witch in the classic Riverdale setting is always magical, but in this preview of Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #352, her appearance unfortunately comes with some baggage — in the form of her nemesis, Amber Nightstone, and her Wicked Trinity minions.

Fresh off their recent appearance in their own one-shot, Amber, Jade Kazane and Sapphire Gill are looking to make trouble for Sabrina as she attempts to set up a “horror movie fest” for her friends in Riverdale. But I’m sure Sabrina and Salem have some tricks of their own in store for the Wicked Trinity.

The story is by Tania Del Rio, with art by Holly G! and Jim Amash, coloring by Glenn Whitmore and lettering by Jack Morelli, and a cover by Dan Parent.

Check out the preview below:

Powerteen’s latest plan spells doom for Riverdale in this preview of ‘Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #324

Check out an exclusive preview of a new story coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Courtesy of Archie Comics, we’re delighted to present a preview of a new story from Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #324, which comes out May 15.

Veronica’s ego has gotten her into some pickles before, but I’m not sure Riverdale can “weather the storm” it brings this time. During a hangout with Superteen, Powerteen, Jaguar and Darkling, Veronica gets into an argument about which hero is the best — so she decides to release an imprisoned supervillain, Climate Changling, to prove it. What could go wrong? See the first panel for the answer to that question. (Also, Climate Changling is a brilliant name for a villain.)

Check out the preview by Ian Flynn, Steven Butler, Jim Amash, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli below. We also have a complete, “classic” Veronica story that will appear in this issue, where Veronica shares her fears about going to prom with Archie.

Archie’s obsessive fandom helps save the day in ‘Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #348’

Check out an exclusive preview of a new story coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Hey! We’re back with another preview, courtesy of our friends at Archie Comics. This one’s for a new story appearing in Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #348, which will arrive in stores Feb. 28.

In “The Devil’s in the Details,” Archie’s interview to intern at MLJ Museum with The Shield goes sideways when a swarm of villains show up — but all isn’t as it seems in this story by Ian Flynn, Pat Kennedy, Jim Amash, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli.

BTW, the “MLJ” Museum is a fun Easter egg — it’s a reference to Archie Comics’ original name, M.L.J. Magazines, Inc., which started out publishing superheroes before Archie and the gang were created. It was named for the founders, Maurice Coyne, Louis Silberkleit and John L. Goldwater.

Check out the preview below, along with a complete “classic” Arachie story by Frank Doyle and Stan Goldberg.

In “Holiday Heist,” Victoria Adams, aka the Shield, needs help with her holiday shopping — something Veronica knows a thing or two about. Betty turns venomous thanks to a new jacket in ‘World of Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest’ #29

Check out an exclusive preview of a new story coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Courtesy of Archie Comics, we’re delighted to present a preview of a new story from World of Betty & Veronica Jumbo Comics Digest #29, which comes out Sept. 27.

In the story “Denim,” writer Rob Sinnott and artists Bill Galvan and Jim Amash present a cautionary tale about being careful when searching for vintage clothing — you might end up with a monstrous denim jacket that alters your personality. As Betty drops venomous insults on her friends, Veronica recruits the Mighty Crusaders to help end the verbal carnage and save Betty from the jacket. Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli are on board for colors and letters, respectively.

Check out the preview below, along with a classic Archie story featuring a fun superhero-themed costume party.

Take a Ditko-esque trip into the ‘Topsy Turvey’ with Jake Chang and Archie [Preview]

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

Archie Comics has shared a preview with us of World of Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #133, which will feature two new stories in addition to a whole lot of classic material.

The first story features Archie falling into something called the “Topsy Turvey” — think The Upside-Down by way of Steve Ditko — and detective Jake Chang has to figure out how to get him out (with some help from Vegas, Archie’s dog). Tom DeFalco, Steven Butler and Jim Amash present this strange adventure.

Then, Dan Parent and Bob Smith bring together the Superteens and She-Fox to face the menace of Metra. This mullet-sporting villain can control time and space, but seems very hung up on the 1980s, much to our heroes’ dismay.

Colorist Glenn Whitmore and letterer Jack Morelli are on board for both stories, which arrive in next week’s digest. Check out the previews below, along with a complete classic Little Archie story featuring a new friend from outer space.

Ghost Fox takes a radical trip back in time in this preview of ‘Archie Jumbo Comics’ #343

Check out an exclusive preview of two new stories coming in next week’s digest from Archie Comics.

If you’re still coming to terms with the fact that Riverdale has aired its last episode ever, fear not — the comic book adventures of Archie and his friends continue every week. And this week, thanks to Archie Comics, we have a preview of two new stories appearing in next week’s Archie Jumbo Comics Digest #343.

The first story features Archie, Dilton and Moose helping out Nevada Jones with harvesting the Nevada Orchard fruit trees, with a little “help” from Dilton’s drones. Things do not go well in this story by Ian Flynn, Pat Kennedy, Jim Amash, Glenn Whitmore and Jack Morelli.

In the second story, Ghost Fox is preoccupied with 1985 when he is accidentally transported back in time thanks to one of Dilton’s machines. (Are we sure it’s a good idea for this kid to have access to technology?) This totally tubular story is by Dan Parent and Bob Smith, along with Whitmore and Morelli.

Check them both out below, along with a classic Archie story featuring Archie cowboying up after a relative gifts him a pair of boots.
